I Want To Be Your Friend


Nayyirah Waheed was totally on point with this one. We need to focus more on being friends with our bodies. I just recently told my body “I want to be your friend” and oh my is it happy. Listening to your body is a great way to love it. I’m going to do a complete overhaul on what happens with my body. First, I will be changing my eating habits. Then, I will be adding an exercise routine, that is a definite must. Harmony with my body is much needed. Once you become friends with your body you will feel the same.

Without harmony there is chaos

Without harmony there is most definitely chaos. Have you ever eaten to the point of bursting, I know I have. When that feeling of overfull happens, that is chaos. Lying around upon returning home causes chaos. How can a person love their bodies if they aren’t doing anything to create a more harmonious space for it? Once harmony is found within the body, an inner peace that has never been known will arise. You will discover that your body is more than willing to do for you, as long as you do for it. Don’t you find that you function so much better when you are in a harmonious situation versus a chaotic one?

Learn to love

When you are friends with someone you are not sitting there critiquing them are you? I hope not…. You are there to support them and to be the best that you can be in their life. Once you become friends with your body you must do the same. Love your body no matter what. Supporting your friend through everything will make your day so much brighter. Give your friend what they need to live a happy and healthy life.
